I was upset when I realized I didn’t take a picture with myself in it today, until I realized that wasn’t the reason for me starting this whole thing. I’m doing this not to showcase or improve my photography skills, since I have none, but to document my whole year.
Let me tell you about my day. I got up early to the sound of torrential downpour. Got out of bed. Made a mocha. Got dressed. Headed out in the god awful storm (thank god my car was in the garage he he he) and drove to the Honda dealership in Newton. There, I waited for an hour while the service department installed my front license plate bracket and the plates themselves.
I then drove over to the inspection station since the car had no inspection sticker. I really thought I was on a roll. The dealership took awhile, but I was okay with it. There was no one in line at the inspection station and I zipped right through. With a REJECTED sticker. WHAT!
I had to go back to the dealership — since its a new (to me) car, inspection is obviously guaranteed. It failed for windshield wipers. The thing was torn. And it FAILED. So after going into hysterics to the receptionist and the used car manager, I waited for another 45 minutes and got the wiper blades replaced.
I went BACK to the inspection station. Success!
I also decided to really start up the beer blog again. I’ve been neglecting it, and honestly thought that I had gone so long without posting that my login would have been disabled, but it was fine. I want to write in there often to gain experience writing for food & bev. So I can freelance write articles in the future.
love, heather
